Invisalign® clear aligners are moulded to fit your teeth , with no sharp edges or brackets

Frequently asked questions

about My E20 Dentist
How long does clear aligner treatment take?

The length of Spark treatment varies depending on the complexity of your case and how consistently you wear your aligners. On average, treatment typically ranges from 6 to 24 months. Mild alignment issues may be corrected in a shorter timeframe, while more complex cases can take longer. Wearing your aligners for the recommended 20–22 hours per day and attending regular check-ins with your dental provider are key to staying on track and achieving the best possible results within your estimated treatment time.

Do I have to wear my clear aligners all the time?

Yes — for the best and fastest results, Spark aligners should be worn for 20 to 22 hours per day. You should only remove them when eating, drinking anything other than water, and when brushing and flossing your teeth. Consistently following the recommended wear schedule helps ensure your teeth move as planned and keeps your treatment on track.

Do clear aligners hurt while straightening my teeth?

Spark aligners are designed to be comfortable, but it’s normal to feel some mild pressure or soreness when starting a new set of aligners. This sensation is a sign that your teeth are gradually shifting into their new positions. Most patients find any discomfort is temporary and typically fades within a few days. Compared to traditional braces, Spark aligners often provide a smoother, more comfortable experience thanks to their advanced TruGEN™ material and polished edges.

What are clear aligners made of and are they safe?

Spark™ Aligners are made from a patented clear aligner material called TruGEN™. This advanced material is designed for comfort, clarity, and efficient tooth movement. Spark aligners are FDA-cleared and safe for orthodontic use. They are free from latex, BPA, mercury, phthalates, and other harmful substances, making them a reliable option for patients seeking a comfortable and effective teeth-straightening treatment. Clinical research and extensive testing support their safety and performance in orthodontic care.

Will my clear aligners stain over time?

Spark aligners are designed to stay exceptionally clear and resist staining thanks to their advanced TruGEN™ material. However, like all clear aligners, they can become discolored if exposed to certain foods and drinks such as coffee, tea, red wine, or soda. To help prevent staining, it’s important to remove your aligners before eating or drinking anything other than water. Regular cleaning—such as gently brushing them with a soft toothbrush and rinsing them often—will help keep your aligners clear and fresh throughout treatment.

Can I spread the cost of my treatment?

We offer 0% APR payment plans for treatments over £1000. You can spread the cost over up to 12 months, making it easier to manage your dental care expenses. Speak to one of our team members for further information.
